Dr Richard Draeger Leaving Notice

Dear Patients,

I have made the difficult decision to leave Chet Valley Medical Practice at the end of October 2024. I will be moving closer to home and starting work at Long Stratton Medical Partnership in November.

I initially joined Chet Valley Medical Practice in 2017 as a GP Trainee under Dr Duthie. I later returned as a Partner and I am now a Salaried Doctor here.

I feel immensely privileged to have been a GP here and I have enjoyed getting to know my patients and their families. I have always felt it is important to give time to patients to share their stories and problems, which has on occasion made me run a little late! However, it has always been my objective to make you feel listened to and unhurried.

General Practice has been challenging over the last 4 years for several reasons, including the Pandemic. I would not have managed those years without the excellent team here at Chet Valley Medical Practice. I am leaving you in good hands with a hardworking and well-motivated group; please look after them!

Health, Wealth, and Happiness to you and your families.

Best wishes to you all.
Dr Richard Draeger
