Out of Hours Service
Between 18:30 and 08:00, Monday to Friday, all day at weekends and on Bank Holidays your call will be redirected to the East of England Ambulance Service. Please contact NHS 111.
The clinicians working for the service will then decide on the appropriate action, by offering telephone medical advice, if indicated advise and provide directions to the nearest Primary Care Centre or in exceptional circumstances, visit you at home.

The practice dispensary is open Monday to Friday between 08:30 and 18:30.The dispensary has a separate telephone line which is 01508 522769, to deal with prescription queries and is available to patients between 10:00-12:00 and 14:00-17:00 – Monday to Friday.
Please note that the dispensary is closed at lunchtime on the first Tuesday of each month for staff training
Please note the Practice Dispensary in open for the collection of medication between 08:30 and 18:00pm. We request that you do not visit the Practice to collect medication outside of these times. Thank you.
Our practice is engaged in a pilot scheme providing improved access for patients, to a range of healthcare professionals. Working within a group of eight local practices, we offer a range of appointments each weekday evening between 18:30 and 20:00 and during selected times at weekends, to registered patients, in at least one of the participating practices. Please telephone the surgery for more details.
The practice is not contactable by telephone during this time.
The out of hours service continues to provide urgent/emergency cover. Please note that this is not a walk-in service and therefore you will need to have a pre-booked appointment beforehand.
Access is provided via an intercom system to those patients with a pre-booked appointment only.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999 and ask for an ambulance.
Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute as an emergency.
