Telephone Consultations

To improve access for patients – please note the process for handling telephone consultations and the importance of the following:

1. For routine telephone consultations ensure to make yourself available to receive a return call within one hour of the telephone appointment time.

2. Ensure to be in an area from which you can obtain an effective mobile phone signal. If this is not possible, please provide a suitable landline number.

3. Please note that if the GP/ Nurse is unable to contact you, we will ask that you re-book your appointment.

This is to minimise wastage of valuable appointment time. We thank you for your cooperation.
