Louise is a member of the practice team, whose role is to support the GPs on a daily basis with the management of patients in the community either face to face or telephone support. Her work involves following up housebound patients for example following discharge from hospital. Louise works closely with both internal and external clinical staff to deliver high quality nursing to manage patients who have complex and high risk conditions.
Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. If you would like to request results, please use our Test Results triage.
They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one, please visit our Chaperones page for more information.
