The Patient Participation Group was first set up in February 1996 and has played an important role in representing not only the patients but in supporting the practice. All patients of Chet Valley Medical Practice are regarded as members of the PPG and are represented by a committee elected at the AGM held in May.

Open meetings

Four open meetings are held at the practice each year and are advertised by poster and in the local parish magazines.  We try to organize interesting and varied speakers so our meetings are often fun as well as informative. We aim to help things run smoothly and discuss how communication can be improved.

Fund raising

Fund raising events are organised from time to time and bequests accepted for the Surgery Equipment Fund.

Equipment Purchased

Recently purchased equipment includes a defibrillator.

Newsletter

PULSE is our in-house newsletter which is produced quarterly.  It contains information on any changes to staff and services as well as up-to-date health advice.
