The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. Their role is to make sure that healthcare services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high quality-care. To meet these fundamental standards of quality they monitor, inspect and regulate services and then publish their findings.
